The DooDah Parade, Columbus, Ohio’s refreshingly irreverent alternative to nationalistic indoctrination, made a late-pandemic come-back after a one-year hiatus. In addition to political satire, irony, and withering criticisms of both imperial capitalism and performative wokeness, there were moments of dada joy. I’m grateful for the weirdness.
